Is there an interest in fire umbrellas?

Postby trick » Sun Oct 04, 2009 7:20 am

Over the last couple years Trick Concepts has had several requests for fire umbrellas. Fire umbrellas can be made in many different ways and at many different levels of complexity. This can drastically affect their durability and price. Let us know if you have an interest in fire umbrellas, how you would like to see the made, what features are important and unimportant, and what you would be willing to pay for your ideal umbrella. If there is enough demand, we hope to offer a fire umbrella in the near future.

let us know how you would like the umbrella Wick. Umbrellas can be Wick just on the spines, or the entire umbrella can be covered with a sheet of fireproof material just as a regular umbrella would be covered. Another option is to run a spiral rope over the entire surface of the umbrella. If you have other ideas please let us know?

Is it important for the umbrella to have an arc like a regular umbrella does? This greatly adds to the complexity and cost of the design.

Would it be helpful to have a feature that allows you to hold the umbrella at the base stationary while the rest of the umbrella spins?

is it more important to have big fire or a long burn?

How big of concern is weight?

How large would you like the ember looked to be?

List any other features that you think would be important for your performance.

Thanks You,
Jaz

Hey Jaz I have been wanting a fire umbrella for some time now. Actually 3 years now. I will call you and talk to you more about it. I don't trust no one but you to make my exotic tools, and majority of the tools came from you.

You had asked about the price. Honestly if you made it, I would not have an issue with in the ball park of $300 - $350. I know some would gasp at the price, but knowing it cam from you, the customer service you offer. $300 -#350 is not bad at all
